Occassionally I come across an unusual character. These are often the most interesting commissions I get. 'The Thug' seen below has been through many scraps and accidents and has the wounds to show for it. But despite his appearance he is dearly loved and adored by his owners. The close up study of the cat below was a little demo I did at one of my events. Eyes are so important in capturing the character of anyone and I wanted to show how effective the chalk pastels are when it comes to the fine details.
